Introduction:

What is a Blader? Dual Wielding class of LaTale. Not much more you need to know then that other then you need to start off as a Warrior in your first job in order to eventually reach this class at level 80.

A Blader is a simple class with absolutely 0 flash. If you are a Nancy boy or girl who enjoys twinkling lights and flashy skills and animations this is not the class for you, bladers are simply a raw damage output class with no attention grabbing skills. If you are already complaining about the no flash part, please save me the time and don’t make this class, I made it because I realize that every character is pretty much a mash fest of pressing keys, and flash in no way helps me in anyway nor does it excite me. I am a power type person so I chose this class for that and no other reason. Are you ready?

The Basics:

The blader class has 3 different types of builds; Power – Critical – and Evasion. Each build is useful at one point in time (at this point in LaTale critical is the weakest due to horrible critical gear, I’d recommend staying away from it) The use of these builds depend on your preference, and the need depending on the type of area you are grinding on.
Bladers are a simple class that use the very two attacks you started off with.

Plain Attack

Hard Attack

Plain attack is basically the attack you will spam until the point you want to unleash one of the 4 finishers a blader can have through out maxing the Ultimate Blade skill. The finishing attacks have different aspects from running towards the enemy to spinning through, each hit a certain amount of times and can help depending on the situation you are in.

Fighting Style:

Bladers are a class that specialize in close armed combat, when we hit we hit hard and quick. Now while the damage is good the problem is exactly that "close armed" meaning barely any range. As a blader your most important learning lesson will be to master how far your attacks can reach, this is important while grinding due to keeping monsters from attacking you and saving pots, but it is especially important in PvP because if we can't get close to our enemy we stand no chance. Some things to learn is how far you can slide, sliding is when you are running and attack while doing so, your blades will reach out as far as they can to hit whatever you are aiming for before you get into position, this can help in many ways by getting the monsters attention to preventing it from running right into you.
Bladers are a class that specialize in precise damage, this means that due to our speed and power if we are to ever get a enemys back we will unleash more damage in those seconds then any other class can, this is one of the few advantages this class has, so don't take it lightly, especially in PvP since your enemy won't be able to get out of the flinch, but for monsters it's a different story since they can turn at will, so find ways to take advantage of it.

The Overdrives:

Evasion: Sight

What is Evasion? Evasion is a stat in LaTale that offers the ability to basically give a character high avoid, avoid assists in monsters missing you.

The more Evasion you got the more likely a monster is to miss on you. The current version of LaTale has 12 types of gear and attributes that offer the ability to pack Evasion on them, they are as follows;

Overdrive Sight : 24
Danger Detection : 10
Stockings : 17
Shoes : 17
Cat Pet : 12
Guild : 8
Hyu Set : 8
Ring : 4
Tengu Bindi : 5
Food : 10

Fashion: Dung Hat : 1 , and Mask ( Currently not available) : 3

What are the numbers? That’s that max possible evasion stat you can get on each. To better understand why the overdrive gives 24 instead of 20 evasion with gulliver blades, please scroll down to the "The Arsenal" section and read up on the special blades known as gullivers.

Evasion is most useful on monsters that are Yellow/Light Green for you, as the color gets less intense and eventually down to gray the monsters will start missing naturally on you and this is when a blader should consider buying a skill reset and going into one of the more damage output fields.
Critical: Nerve

It is exactly what it sounds like, it improve critical rate and damage. In other versions of LaTale they have puzzles that add more stats and gloves that add 100% critical damage, we do not have these possibilities making this build one of the weaker ways to go unless the critical rate is very high. The current thought is that every 15 luck is 1% critical rate and that we start off with the base of 5%. Anything in your statistics window adds on to the overall rate you hit critical.

I strongly suggest you skip this builds if you do not have the funds to afford the following or have them in the first place;

Panda : 35%   damage
Gloves : 25%+ damage
Tiger Sign : 3% Critical rate with the addition of luck for every upgrade
God/King Title : 3-4% Critical rate and 15% damage [active]
Hot Cocoa : 20%   damage

Note: Just because the name is Nerve and it talks about adding critical damage, it does not mean this build does the most critical damage. As it will be explain in the power field this build is actually weaker in damage and critical when side by side with power, the only thing that is better is it's critical rate which is easily managed.

Power: Power

Power is the greatest out of all builds in my opinion. To better understand the total domination that power has over Critical you must understand that critical damage is based off BASE damage, no other build offers base damage addition other then Power.

ALL CREDITS GO TO : RAVEN
The Formula: So it is understood why power trumps critical here is a quick
demonstration

BLADER BASICS FOR THE DUMMIES.

Lets figure out your crit damage. Ill include foods I guess. No syrups or anything fancy.
~

Base = 50%
Panda = 35%
Gloves = 30%
Aura = 20%
Food = 20%
Total = 155%

NOTE: LETS CALL YOUR TOTAL CRIT DAMAGE, “CD”, AND YOUR BASE DAMAGE “BD”

Now lets talk builds and what they do
~ Crit build

10% crit rate
30% crit damage

10% rate = 150 luck

Say you do 1000 dmg normals. Youl be doing BD x CD + 30% base when you crit. That’s 2850 on crits. Awesome.

~ Dmg build

30% base dmg

Say you do 1000 normals. Youl be doing 1.3 times your normal, which is 1300. Now do your new BD, which is 1300, x CD, when you crit. That’s 1300 x 155% which is:  3315. Even more awesome.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: We both know you do way more damage than 1000 base. So these totals get multiplied even more, and the difference in damage between both builds is what?.

CONCLUSION!

Power build = 30% more damage on EVERY HIT, and hella higher crits.
Crit build= crappier damage on EVERY HIT, and crappier CRITS, but 10% more chance to crit. AKA 150 more luck.

Power adds base stats and with this higher critical damage then Nerve itself. What does this mean? Well unless you enjoy hitting 10% more critical STICK WITH POWER.

Builds

Builds?: This is where you will learn how to distribute your skill points and where you will figure out which build is for you. Bladers have many different options of builds, which can include having extra power while packing evasion, or having power with higher critical damage, it's up to you to figure out which one you find the most efficient for you, but this will vary depending on the monsters you are fighting or if you are trying to make a good Player vs Player build.

Legend: The name of the build will be underlined and then skills will be named off with a + sign beside them, the number beside the "+" will determine to what level you need to get that skill to, now some of you might see skills like Ultimate Double Blade at +4 right away which is impossible at level 80, all this means is that you need to max it out as soon as possibly available, and depending in what order they are is what order you need to prioritize them in.

References:
You might see some across some builds when it appears scroll up to here and find out what they mean.

Reference 1: Ultimate Double Blade 5 is pretty useless and a waste of 5 points, in my 91 levels as a blader to date I have yet to find a need for it.

Reference 2: The Berserker skills are pretty useless in my opinion, and you will rarely find yourself using it ( Bossing/Fun ), if you can afford it go down another Tree until you have enough points to max both these skills out ( You will need 15 points ) and get Weapon Master to a decent level ( Around level 6 in my opinion ), when you do reset and do this.

Reference 3: Weapon Mastery III has a nasty habit of lowering your accuracy, many people leave this skill at a lower level or with no points at all until they have the appropriate accuracy gear to support it.

Special Note: Double Blade Step does not require any points to be used, you just need to buy it.

Pure Evasion

Note: This is the weakest build for bladers, however this will guarantee that you will save ton of pots. This build is basically the card you use when you are grinding on monsters that require you to spam instant pots, not only will this make monsters miss on you but it will also raise your accuracy making you miss less, allowing you to fight higher leveled mobs earlier in the game and survive.

Skills: Weapons:

Ultimate Double Blade: +4 ( See Reference 1 )
Sight Overdrive: +10
Double Blade Mastery I: +5
Double Blade Mastery II: +10
Double Blade Mastery III:+10 ( See Reference 3 )

Misc Skills:

Rage Explosion: +10 ( See Reference 2 )
Berserker: +10
Berserker Control: +5

Weapon Master: +10
Overpowering Gaze: +5
Threatening Gaze: +5
Bloodthirsty Aura: +10

by this time you will be well into your 18x and the rest of the skills are pretty crappy in my opinion so form your own ideas and add the skills as you like.

Evasion Power v1

Note: This build focuses on high evasion with power to kill at a decent speed. It is one of the most recommended builds by me and many when fighting monsters like Clowns/Ninjas/Kais at levels where they are dangerous to you, it will help you survive and deal out damage to not make them a threat for a long period of time. Version 1 focuses on evasion and accuracy before power and critical.

Skills: Weapons:

Ultimate Double Blade: +4 ( See Reference 1 )
Sight Overdrive: +10
Double Blade Mastery I: +5
Double Blade Mastery II: +10
Double Blade Mastery III:+10 ( See Reference 3 )

Misc Skills:

Overpowering Gaze: +5
Threatening Gaze: +5
Bloodthirsty Aura: +10

by this time you will be well into your 18x and the rest of the skills are pretty crappy in my opinion so form your own ideas and add the skills as you like.

Evasion Power v2

Version 2 focuses on power and critical before evasion and accuracy.

Str Upgrade: +10
Rage: +10
Rage Explosion: +10 ( See Reference 2 )
Berserker: +10
Berserker Control: +5

Weapon Master: +10
Precise Attack: +10
Fast Movement: +10
Danger Detection: +10
Overpowering Gaze: +5
Threatening Gaze: +5
Bloodthirsty Aura: +10

by this time you will be well into your 18x and the rest of the skills are pretty crappy in my opinion so form your own ideas and add the skills as you like.

Power Critical

Note: This is the strongest build in the game, it will allow you to do the highest damage possible as a blader and slay anything in front of you before you know it.
The build is very pricey to use when having to deal with mobs that do not miss on you and will ensure you miss if you do not have proper accuracy gear, so make sure you have the funds available before stepping into this type of build.

Skills: Weapons:

Ultimate Double Blade: +4 ( See Reference 1 )
Power Overdrive: +10
Double Blade Mastery I: +5
Double Blade Mastery II: +10
Double Blade Mastery III:+10 ( See Reference 3 )

Misc Skills:

Str Upgrade: +5
Rage: +10
Rage Explosion: +10 ( See Reference 2 )
Berserker: +10
Berserker Control: +5

Weapon Master: +10
Overpowering Gaze: +5
Threatening Gaze: +5
Bloodthirsty Aura: +10
Str Upgrade: +5
Precise Attack: +10
Fast Movement: +10
Danger Detection: +10

by this time you will be well into your 18x and the rest of the skills are pretty crappy in my opinion so form your own ideas and add the skills as you like.

Note: Your build does not have to follow these outlines to the teeth, it is just an outline you should follow with advice from people that have used various builds. Do what you like and experiment.

Yes it does, thanks for pointing out my mistake even at +9 it only adds 1% evasion and only 90 HP ( 10 each upgrade ). The reason I left it out is because I copy pasted it from an old notepad before I knew how much its total was. Thanks for score =) more too add.

Fashion: Dung Hat : 1 , and Mask ( Currently not available) : 3

24+10=34
34+17=51
51+17=68
68+12=80
80+8=88
88+8=96
96+4=100
100+1=101
101+1=102
102+3=105
(Now we add the additional 10 evasion bladers get from being in the arena)
105+10=115

I'll bet if you screenshotted the Tengu Bindi thats ON YOUR FACE and posted it, that it would have +5% evasion.

LOL 120 evasion aren't you cool.. and im pretty sure that you wasted tons on your precious guidebooks to even get that extra evade.. if you didnt getting 120 is impossible for the time being.. just so you know, no one cares.. LOL you actually felt the need to list how much stuff you have.. how lame is that.

To which you so kindly explain to her

I'd be only 119% you stupid idiot. Learn to troll before you assume I'm adding the 120% to my stats idiot ;), and you are forgetting to something I already mentioned you just got to know how to use it in PvP. get outta here is that away failure >

Oops my bad, I made a mistake. And since I'm such an idiot, why don't you go ahead and post the EXACT gear selection you used to get 120% evasion.

That's fine and dandy, but now it seems like your avoiding posting the equipment. This is a guide right? Why don't you guide them to what they need to reach 120% evasion.

Thanks for the guide, whether it's bad or not, it's better than having nothing to read about the Blader class =)

K, since you are obviously freaking not very smart lets go over your problems. Nothing about this guide is biased so far since there is no guide! SUPRISE! It's just general information as of 11:10 EST. Listen if you wanna come and try look smart in my thread please make sure you are even reading the very facts infront of your face, thanks you stupid idiot. You are a women.. what more can I expect from you? You are obviously a challenged person because you can't stand being a failure blader, sorry =/. Theres about 4 bladers in this server who are complete failures in my eyes, this doesn't talk about the general population thinking this, but guess what.. you are one of them, the very fact you think you are anything but a total waste of crap sickens me.

I wasn't even writing to you in this thread, which suprises me if you think I was thinking about you while I was writing any of this? Now i'm thinking where did I bash Eva builds anywhere so far.. hmm? Might it be the fact that I said one should switch after Monsters miss natuarlly? Name one high level blader who sticks with eva while monsters can't touch them at all as it is? One? Please! No one stays eva, because taking a 60% damage loss is stupid just to save some pots, I rather train efficiantly then save 200k on pots in 1 hour.

Now lets talk about you, your gear sucks, you suck, you suck at PvP, your level sucks, and even you marketing in the FM sucks.. seriously Spa Tickets still? What a resort to make some money, try making money without spending astro failure.

I did not try to educate you anywhere, you know you are a failure, and I have risen my accuracy by 35 since our last PvP match, please accept my open challenge infront of everyone and face me again. Now since you are obvious blonde in real life and there fore certified not very smart I will stop responding to your not very smart ass in my thread at least because getting it closed over a huge pile of turd such as yourself would be a waste. get outta here thanks. LAUGH ( What are you 11? 50 bucks you are the biggest mistake your father made apart from not molesting you into insanity where you would not even be able to use a computer )

To the kid asking me to explain how you get that much Eva, what am I? The helper all the sudden? One tip: Just because it's stays up there doesn't mean it works, vise versa. ex Panda to Cat. Figure it out, I'm not holding your hand.

There is nothing bad about this guide, it doesn't even have a build included yet, and considering I've been every build possible it makes a lot of sense I'd know whats good by now. Also a few other people are helping or will help because this is the open program I have decided to do where anyone can help, since I'm actually trying to help out a class where no one posses a challenge to me. Someone excite me I'm bored.

I never said you were, I'm just proving a point. Everyone has their own playing style. Just because one person cant beat them does not mean that someone else cant.

As for being unknown outside of my buddy list, I could only wish that was true.

Yes yes no one cares, and you are obviously caught in a lie since you had no other reason to post the SS of you not being that gigantic failure. Now honestly I don't care about you or anyone, from now on this thread will be unresponsive by me to any trolling unless it helps with what I'm doing. 1: I don't want a certain person mad, and I'm seriously getting sick of fighting vs someone who has been wrong every step of the way. No i don't care what preference people have btw, I don't care if someone is eva, the only reason I'm mad at shadow10 anyways is because I'm 5-1 vs him now due to him having to lie he was Power when Eva.. it's unfair already but now he has to trick me into PvP.. I wouldn't expect you to understand nor do I care if you understand or not because you obviously don't matter or you wouldnt be hdiding

With that please be quiet, I will not be responding to ANYONE who posts negativly or offtopic in this thread towards me or anyone, if you wanna talk to me I'm online in game and there is always whispers. I will delete every post I made due to me clearly being an idiot talking to people less inteligent then me and clearly grabbing and grasping at anyhope in trying to prove they got some type of idea that will burn me.. I'm lossing it.

Once again, KEEP THE THREAD DRAMA FREE.
